Asus K53TA screen upgrade?

So I am about to purchase the steal of a deal Asus K53TA-BBR6 Frombestbuy. I have heard the screen has issues but I really don't care as I hate the small 1366 x 768 resolution on a 15.6" screen(my x120e 11.6" has that same resolution!). What I want to do is swap the lame panel with a 1080P capable panel. I hear the Asus has a samsung LTN156AT02P09 panel. I have been looking at replacing it with some iteration of the AU OptronicsB156HW01. Will this work?

I know the panel types are identical, LED with the same 40 pin connector. Would there be any issue with the inverter. I know the HP DV6 with the same specs uses that AU Optronics panel for its 1080p display version. I have swapped out panels for broken laptops of friends before, I believe I have the tools to get this done, please advise if my hardware choice is correct and if

anyone knows a better panel or a better(cheaper) supplier of panels. Thanks

just bought it to. Just got done with getting all the bloatware out of it. I do love the specs but like OP i hate the screen res. Would love to swap out the screen! Bookmarking the thread!
